Wishful Sun, Scattered Sea

Posted in Uncategorized by maddaATU on April 25, 2010

Jason Lee Parry doesn’t just take photos; he creates characters and tells stories.  This time Barbora Vesela is at the centre of a tranquil scene of unextravagant yachts and gentle sun.

Sheer sweetheart: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Posted in Uncategorized by maddaATU on April 22, 2010

Rosie Huntington tends to get pigeon-holed into the sexy/glamorous types of shoot . I’d like to say this shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Russia is some kind of fantastic exception, but it’s pretty much right in line with Rosie’s usual look. That said, it means she’s doing what she does best – wearing figure-hugging minidresses (like this one, with its bold print and sheer sweetheart neckline), as well as a few floatier numbers.

Daisy Lowe enticing in Futureclaw(Can’t buy me love)

Posted in Uncategorized by maddaATU on April 22, 2010

With her curvaceous figure, exotic pose, and this little cropped top with fringing. Daisy Low is reminding us a little of a modern day Mata Hari. But while floral hot pants may not have been quite right for Mata Hari’s line of work (jewel-covered ones maybe?) they’re perfectly suited to Daisy’s look in this shoot for Futureclaw.

Pretty meets punk, all tied up in a bow

Posted in Uncategorized by maddaATU on April 22, 2010

The floral print on this bow headband is a little like your grandma’s Victorian-era furniture upholstery (not such a bad thing in my book); while the addition of little skulls adds a twist of attitude. This gorgeous model’s name is Polina Sova; the photographer Wilfredo Alexander.

Anja Rubik for Quazi: animal exotica

Posted in Uncategorized by maddaATU on April 10, 2010

Far from the wintery boots we saw as part of her previous collaboration with Quazi , Spring 2010 sees zebra prints and white leather as the focus of Anja Rubik’s accessories collection for the brand. It’s pretty hard to even notice the accessories mind you – when Anja’s ridiculously long legs and toned body are the more prominent features of the shoot.
