Behati Prinsloo: watch this space( Elle june 2010)
Watch this space: Behati Prinsloo‘s team are working hard to mature her image for a sexually accentuated area. Surfin Costa Rica takes the best of model Behati Prinsloo while leaving aside the overt girliness she’s previously been known for.
A pack of camels
We’ve already tracked the rise of the women’s camel coat as a Fall 2010 staple, but the coat might actually be a part of the rise of all-things-camel-coloured for 2010, including Spring 2010.
Fashion gods. Pick yours.
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, 10 magazine is offering up 10 different covers. On those covers you’ll find 10 different designers, whom they’ved dubbed the ’10 fashion gods’. 10. Important number. Got it? More important though is who you’ll pick from amongst the 10 (there I go again) as your personal fashion god.
Karen Elson 60s folk chic for Foam
Of all the Karen Elson shoots we’ve seen of late – courtesy her forthcoming debut album – none has her brilliant red hair styled quite so well. Foam gives Elson a 60s spin that reminds me muchly of Julianne Moore in A Single Man.
Skye Stracke & Lindsay Ellingson: H&M Magazine Summer 2010
We’ve seen Catherine McNeil lookinf glamourous poolside for H&M Magazine’s summer issue; but if you’re after something a little more casual and bohemian, the retail giant also have that area covered. There are bright prints and flowing long florals; but by far my favourite looks on duo Skye Stracke and Lindsay Ellingson are the soft powdery blues that mimic the cloudless sky.
Cropped, but not showing skin: street style
Sometimes a bodysuit is a girl’s best friend… especially if you want to throw on a little crop top but without showing midriff to the world. Case in point, this cool street style look by Wayne Tippetts.
Natasha Poly street style: that jacket
Marrying leather and fur , the ever-gorgeous Natasha Poly manages to make layers of all black look interesting and stylish. The exaggerated leather sleeves also add an certain element of the sporty.
Street style: sock simplicity
Donning overthe knee socks for Spring 2010 can feel a bit school-girl if you’re not careful. If you want to go for more of a sophisticated look, taking your lead from this street style outfit wouldn’t be a bad idea.
The socks are a simple charcoal grey, the dress is complimentary navy and not too short, and the classic cream trench elegantly tops it off.
